Voter Registration Deadline in Bryan-College Station
The voter registration deadline in Bryan-College Station is quickly approaching. If you have moved to the Bryan-College Station area within the last few years and have not yet registered with your current address, you have until Tuesday, October 9, 2012 to update your information or you will not be able to vote in the upcoming Presidential election on November 6th. Brazos County voting laws require that you be registered no later than 28 days before an election in order to legally cast your vote.
To be eligible to vote in Bryan-College Station, you must be at least 18 years old at the time of the election, be a legal resident of Brazos County, be mentally competent and not be a convicted felon, unless you have served all your time required as well as completed your probation and parole. In addition to voting for the President and Vice President of the United States, College Station residents will be voting on nine amendments to the City’s charter.
To register, all you need to do is download an application here, fill it out and either mail it or submit it in person to Kristeen Roe, the Voter Registrar for Brazos County. Her office is located at 300 E William Joel Bryan Pkwy in Bryan, TX. You should receive your voter registration card within a few days of submission. However, if any of the information on your application is incomplete, you will be required to send in another completed application with 10 days or be disqualified from voting in the upcoming election.
