College Station Cookie-Eating Contest
“C is for cookies…that’s good enough for me!” Who doesn’t love cookies?! The Blue Baker will be hosting a cookie-eating contest in College Station at it’s Cookies for Kids Day on Saturday, October 6, 2012. When they say “kids”, though, they mean kids of all ages. All you have to do is love cookies and kids to get involved.
From 11am to 2pm, the Blue Baker (located at 800 University Dr in College Station) will be serving up delicious cookies for a great cause. All money raised by the cookie competitors will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network. The competition will be divided up into age groups and by individual or team (your scout troop, classroom, company, etc). The winner of each individual contest will receive one free cookie per day for an entire year. Winners of each team competition will receive a free cookie party from Blue Baker. The top fundraiser for the entire event will receive a gift card for Target.
The Children’s Miracle Network has been raising money for children’s hospitals since 1983. They have always been focused on the local needs, keeping all money raised for the children’s hospitals right in the community. To register for the College Station Cookie-Eating Contest or to donate money if you can’t participate, please visit the Cookies for Kids fundraising page. From here, you can set up your own fundraising page to refer donors to. Remember, the more money you raise, the more help you will be giving to babies and sick children in our Bryan-College Station community.
In the past, Blue Baker’s Cookies for Kids events have raised $17,000. With your help, they are hoping to surpass that amount this year. Please sign up for the College Station Cookie-Eating Contest now. It’s a delicious way to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network.
